Hey Guys,

Just wanted to touch on a few things:

Campaign:

Many of you are asking about the number of Delegates that will be attending the convention. Some newspaper reports have suggested that 2000-2500 delegates will attend. This is not true.

Our numbers tell us that when you add up the ex-officio delegates, the youth delegates, and the regular delegates you have about 2100 potential delegates that will attend. We believe that it will actually be about 1300 at most.

You have all done a great job thus far. We have elected many grassroots party members as delegates. This proved to be difficult in certain areas of the province where John Tory and his people mounted serious campaigns to keep us out.

We have won this DSM battle and from everything I am hearing and seeing we will get more of our delegates to the convention than they will.

Take note that the Leadership review vote will take place on Saturday the 23rd at approx. 12:30-1:00pm. We have information that alternate delegates will not be allowed to bump up to voting delegate status for this particular vote. Please view agenda below or on the convention info page.

2. Be sure to register for the convention NOW to take advantage of the early bird fee. You can download the registration form on the left hand side of this page under the "literature downloads section".

3. If you need a ride/transportation or are having problems with accomodations, please contact us to see if we can assist you.

4. Please consider making a small (or large) donation if you can. This will help offset travel and accomodation costs for some of our Delegates who are in need. Please visit our donation page.
