I received an email late last night from a Member of our Party. She wanted to know if I could send her information about her Delegate Selection Meeting. She wants to be a Delegate at the upcoming Convention is February 2008.
She wants to Vote “Yes” to a Leadership Review.
Her riding? Mississauga Erindale.
Information that we have received is that Mississauga Erindale has ALREADY had their Delegate Selection Meeting. Obviously, this member doesn’t know that. I have yet to confirm.
I have requested information from someone I trust on the ground in Erindale and someone I trust on the Party Executive. We will get to the bottom of this.
We need more information. Let us know when your Delegate Selection Meeting’s are being held. We have to inform the membership of dates and timings. Drop us a line and let us know that you are looking into it so we can maximize our resources.
The Party website shows the convention for the 23rd to the 25th of February. This is not correct. The convention is on the 22nd to the 24th of February.
Rumours are abound that the vote may be scheduled for Friday night. Let’s ensure that we all plan on being there on the Friday the 22nd of February.
Our first, weekly newsletter will be going out tonight. This newsletter will give you some information that you can duplicate and distribute. More detail of where we are organizationally will be in this newsletter.
